Banner was bred in Finland by Jaana and Ritva-Liisa Rankio, and came to the USA as a 4 month old puppy. We are so lucky to have him! He has a delightful, playful personality, and a lot of energy. He was one of the first solid color ECs in the USA to test as PRA clear (he does not have the gene which causes the PRCD form of PRA, a genetic disease in English cockers which causes dogs to become blind in adulthood). Banner is competing occaisionally in conformation, agility and obedience. In September, 2007 he finished his Master Hunter title to become the 6th Champion/Master Hunter in the history of the breed.
